Household Waste

Municipal solid waste contains various valuable materials for recycling. A large proportion of the components can be sorted, sold or used again – for example in sustainable energy production.

Commercial and industrial (C&I) waste is an important source of raw materials for producing solid waste fuels such as residue-derived fuel (RDF) and solid recovered fuel (SRF). A far more environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels.

Construction and Demolition

Many components of construction and demolition waste (CDW) can be separated and processed into new products or materials. And the good news is that it’s not a costly or cumbersome process.

Plastic Processing and Bag Opening

Plastic compounds and plastic bags cause difficulties in many recycling processes. Plastic is often durable and stretchy, and its size and type varies from packages to film and covers.

Paper and Cardboard

Paper and cardboard are typically separated from one another early in the recycling process, after which they continue their individual journeys. Efficient pre-shredding makes it much easier to screen and separate the two from each other.

Bulky Waste

Bulky waste such as furniture, televisions, kitchen appliances, washing machines or bathroom fittings might be too large to be recycled conventionally, but they are far too valuable to be left unutilized.

Other Waste Types

Recycling green waste, wood, tyres, hazardous waste, electronic waste (WEEE), glass or other waste types is far more profitable if the waste is processed and the materials screened and sorted efficiently.

Waste-To-Energy

Waste-to-energy (WtE) plants and energy-from-waste (EfW) facilities can improve energy efficiency and increase output by using higher-quality waste fuel. Optimally shredded waste provides continuous material flow that is needed for stable and efficient combustion.
