On Friday April 12th, Peter Sørensen (Mayor of Horsens Municipality) and Jeppe Keller Jensen (Commercial Manager of Horsens Municipality) visited M&J’s headquarter in Horsens.

The mayor was not able to attend the inauguration of M&J’s new fully automatized welding line in November last year, so he was eager to pay M&J a visit to experience the new technology investment. He praised M&J for having been an innovative company since the foundation back in 1857 – and for becoming a company that now is leading the way with innovative recycling technology that enables a more circular economy.

“New technology and increased automation make working at M&J much more varied and interesting for both present and future employees – and the new technology is an important contribution to the story about a modern industrial company with historical roots. It is extremely important that we have companies like M&J in Horsens Municipality, that lead the way and invest in new technology”, said Peter Sørensen.
