High performance and stability is crucial
The Municipality of Jeju City, South Korea, has a CFBC boiler to treat 150 tons per day. However, with the expanding population and the growing number of tourists, the input stream has increased from 150 to 350 tons per day. That is why the city decided to make 200 tons per day of solid recovered fuel (SRF) to supply the SRF consumers.
M&J PreShred 4000S has solved the municipality’s problem once and for all, shredding more than 400 tons of municipal solid waste per day. With the other suppliers’ preshredders (from Italy and Korea) the customer also had problems with the incineration, because of the wide variety of shred sizes.
With M&J they now have high burning efficiency and a stable incineration ratio.
“We bought the machine for the high performance and stability, and the excellent local support from M&J’s Partner. We are happy to say that so far it has surpassed our expectations on all parameters.”
